The latest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Update brings us some much-needed patches to further tweak and refine the game, most notably we see that all knives now have the exact same activation speed, while the instant combustible bomb cheat/exploit has also been fixed.
The update also included a bundle of sadness as the CS:GO community has been waiting for a major patch and update, ever since we heard about the Chinese Release of the game, and instead all we got was a few bugfixes. While the update did fix some game breaking cheats and continues to refine maps, we can only hope for more in future updates.
In the below video you can see the knife activation times, if you wish to know the peculiar differences that there were in the game, it actually surprised me it took this long to notice.
We are greeted with the usual stacking of Canals fixes (the latest installment in the CS:GO Map pool). While we still have a long way to go, it could potentially become a well played map in CS:GO. Although, personally, I feel this map is too different and stylish to really consider it joining the likes of the tier one competitive maps, though only time will tell.
Size is ~90 MB
The patch also contained some minor stacks of translations from community members, not really game breaking but helpful indeed.
