Your chance to qualify for Masters Cup/DGC

In less than a week we celebrate the start of the 2017 DGL season with the Emerald Genesis Proving Grounds qualifier – a new DGL initiative designed to grant equal opportunity for non-Masters teams to earn their spot in the Masters Cup (Formerly Masters Major) for Dota and CS:GO.

At the same time, this qualifier will enable teams competing in non-Masters titles (such as League of Legends, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty) to book their place at the annual DGC (Digital Gaming Championships) as early as March.

Aptly titled “Proving Grounds”, teams will battle their way through the first of two Emerald qualifiers to book a spot in the Emerald Showdown, and subsequently qualify for the Community Shield, either a Masters Wildcard Qualifier or a DGC Qualifier, depending on the game.
